Welcome to CP graphic design.

I provide affordable marketing services to small and start up businesses and non-profit corporations.

I have experience in company identity creation, product and packaging design, image development, logo design, production of collateral material, advertising, and website development.

I concentrate on small business development and provide professional services and consultation for companies that do not have the resources to employ a full-time marketing person.

Here are examples of companies I started or was instrumental in establishing the corporate image and logo design.

Pettigrew Medical Business Services

I provided marketing and design for my brother's medical billing company. When I started, the company's name was Georgia Medical Business Services. We changed the name when we automated and expanded into a national market. I added the slogan "So you can focus on Medicine" to emphasize our main purpose. We designed a web based interface that allows our client physicians to login to their account and monitor their charts throughout the coding and billing process. I named this unique interface "VitalSignsmd" and designed the logo.

I wrote the copy and was the art director during the website design. We employed Ken Wells to create the flash movie, design the website, and collaborate with the graphics. We also produced a very slick twelve page brochure that mirrors the website and reinforces our print advertising.

A very close friend of mine wanted to start a dog rescue organization. I coined the name and designed the logo. I also do all the graphics and am the administrator of the website.

The Athens Holiday Singers

This is a group I formed in 2007 to bring professional caroling to the city of Athens, Georgia and surrounding communities. The name and logo leave no doubt about our purpose.

Songsations Line Frame

The SongSations

The SongSations is a small vocal ensemble of professional singers that perform a variety of programs. I coined the name and designed the logo to depict our respect for the music.

CP Marine Products

I invented two water ski products in the mid 1980's. I named them Ski Tree and Swim Stirrup and worked with JK Smith to design the packaging and point of purchase displays. I wrote all the copy. He did all the illustrations and designed the collateral materials.

Daddy's BBQ

Daddy's BBQ Sauce

My client wanted to use a picture of his father on the label of his BBQ sauce. The photo he had was old and faded. We restored it to its original colors and proceeded.

Here are examples of logos I have designed. In most cases the design of the logo was part of a larger project and was included in the overall quote for the job.

In many cases my clients put me on retainer for one to two months while I fulfill all their design needs, which includes the design of a logo.

Jerry is one of my cartoonists for 'Flipped' and all the artwork in the JKSmith Design site is his. I helped with the copy, organized and designed the site to showcase his incredible talent.

I designed this site as the companion website for a weekly football radio talk show in Atlanta.

I write a custom weekly football version of 'Flipped' for this website.

JK Smith is the cartoonist. I am also the webmaster.

This was a major project starting from ground zero. My client had pearl jewelry to sell. She needed everything from logo to website. I was put on retainer and we began, logo first.

I photographed all her merchandise, which we did in her garage. I organized her products in this

e-commerce website and wrote all the copy. We are now in the process of marketing her site and getting exposure through on-line malls.
